I came here for the Fruz solo, but am seriously stoked on Flea's. That's one of the best "phrased" solos I've heard from him and would've liked more.

I feel some context is needed, for those people saying the crowd is dead or not a typical group of RHCP fans. IT WAS NOT. This concert was part of the Labatt Blue OUT OF THE BLUE series. No tickets were sold to this show, no one knew the peppers were even in town. The only way to be invited to this show was to have FOUND a BLUELINE phone or pager in a case of beer. When the phone rang with a message, it told you where to go, but not who would be playing. The whole concept was meant to be "OUT OF THE BLUE".... Dream warriors (a hip hop act from canada) opened for them and not many people knew that they were coming on next. A large group of the crowd left as they didn't really feel like they had made the trek south of lakeshore for a chance to see Ludi played live (ua-cam.com/video/rrjeAQDk9Gs/v-deo.html) but when that show inside finally let out, there was this OUTDOOR stage waiting for us. As we walked out, the peppers started and this is what happened. The people that are there are all in shock, we'd all just seen this band at woodstock and couldn't believe they were there for this. I had not seen any footage of this show since attending it myself, Thank you for sharing.
